I'm Braydon. I build software for a living and, apparently, for fun on the weekends too. I care a lot about tools that are fast, quiet, and stay out of your way — the kind you forget you're using because they never fight you.
Most of my work lives close to the terminal. I like plain text, small programs that do one thing, and systems you can actually hold in your head. If a tool needs a config file before it does anything useful, I get suspicious.
what I'm into
Lately my attention goes to developer tooling, local-first software, and the quiet craft of making things feel instant. I have strong opinions about editor themes and will happily lose an afternoon to them.
away from the keyboard
Bouldering, black coffee I probably don't need, and cooking things that take far longer than they should. I read more sci-fi than is strictly reasonable.
